ABOUT

OHVALE

The OHVALE project is the brainchild of Valerio Da Lio, an industry expert with over thirty years’ experience in the motorcycle world. This is one of the many reasons why OHVALE products cannot in any way be confused with many other seemingly similar products.

The GP-0 and GP-2 comes from the desire to design a vehicle that offers the fun and ease of normal riding with the added benefit of daring racing riding style only professional riders can usually afford.

These small motorcycles, with their purposeful, accessible and playful ergonomics, allows for the extreme riding style of a real racing bike while dramatically reducing the costs and transport inconveniences related to track riding.

Every component has been carefully designed for this purpose, giving priority to refinement, robustness and riders´ feedback. The truly passionate motorcycle enthusiasts will fall in love admiring the careful construction and finishing touches.

OHVALE bikes are designed and manufactured in Italy, fruit of a careful industrialisation that blends with refined craftsmanship.

To fulfil the OHVALE dream, Valerio Da Lio teamed up with many great people well known in the motorcycle industry for their extraordinary abilities and high technical experience, in particular engineer Mariano Fioravanzo.

The worldwide reputation of this team represents the best guarantee of design excellence of these little supersport bikes.

The Ohvale GP-0 is available in 3 different versions. Thanks to its characteristics, chassis and ease of riding, it is suitable as an educational and training tool for youngsters (7/8years onwards) or less experienced riders. Most of all it gives the adrenaline and competitiveness of track riding to experienced riders and is a great winter training tool for professional racers.

Owning an OHVALE GP-0 involves a number of practical advantages. The ease of transport is one of them, as the bike fits inside a normal hatchback car.

You can race with great satisfaction on any circuit or kart track, generally open all year round, avoiding long and expensive trips and furthermore permitting half-day track sessions. The cost of track rental, maintenance and tyres are very low compared to a normal bike.

Furthermore, the bike is designed to limit damage in the event of a crash, with plastic pads on the handlebars and foot peg ends as standard. Let’s also underline that a very low centre of gravity and a careful choice of tyres allows the OHVALE GP-0 to be satisfactorily ridden even in winter conditions.

It offers plenty of fun and adrenaline akin to bigger bikes and can be much more challenging when ridden to the limit! The Ohvale GP-0 160 has been chosen by FIM and DORNA for the FIM MiniGP World Series project.

The Ohvale GP-2 is available in 4 different versions.

The bigger brother of the GP-0 it’s ideal for expert riders, both young and adult, who seek maximum performance.

The new steel frame is robot-welded, featuring revised gear shift engagements with adjusted clearance, and the engine has been upgraded with reinforced valve springs.

The updated forks come with Diamond-Like Carbon surface hardening treatment, and the new Ohracing fork includes adjustable hydraulic compression and rebound damping.

The 35mm stanchions reduce friction, making the fork smoother and more responsive.

The front braking system is equipped with a Brembo setup and a 230mm diameter disc.

The Ohvale GP-2 190 has been chosen by FIM and DORNA for the FIM MiniGP World Series project.
