How did APM Customs get involved with bike racing?

Our business was set-up to work with, and supply graphics / livery to the motorsport sector as it has always been a passion of ours. Getting to work with so many great teams and individuals in such an amazing environment is hard to class it as work at times, and this includes both 2 and 4 wheels! The noise, the smell, the excitement… What’s not to love!

How did you get involved with Pete?

We have always been a fan of motorsport, and that includes both 2 and 4 wheel variants. We worked with a number of individuals and teams in the paddock for a number of years now, and these connections led to introductions into the BSB paddock. After working with other teams, our name got passed through the pitlane until one day, we received a call from Pete asking if we would be interested in working with him and the team. We naturally jumped at the opportunity and have been supplying both Pete and the team with graphic support for a number of seasons now.

Favourite race event to attend? 

It’s probably a little cliché, but we have a real soft spot for our home track, Oulton Park. The circuit has a taste of everything, the scenery is incredible, and we feel like we’re part of the place… and if you’ve never seen a BSB bike under compression heading up and out of deer leap at full throttle, then you’re missing out!

Best Hicky memory?

I think it has to be ‘that lap’ round the island at the 2018 TT! Say no more!
