The Ohvale UK Cup
The inaugural Ohvale UK Cup started in 2020. Concentrating on the 110cc class and part of the bigger academy set up by the British Mini Bike Championship (BMB) and Peter Hickman. The 110cc Ohvale UK Cup is for riders between 8 and 12 years of age. The bikes are either Automatic transmission or 4 speed Manual. For full specification and prices on our bikes visit Ohvale Bikes
2021 will see the Ohvale UK Cup expand to include a 160cc class which is for riders 10 (or turning 10 within the year) to 14 year olds! A perfect progression for the faster riders from the 110 class and also opening up the opportunity to be involved with Ohvale to the slightly older riders that were not eligible before!
The Championship is a 10 round British Championship heading to all parts of the UK utilising kart tracks to race on. Tracks include Pembrey in Wales, Ellough Park In Norfolk, Rowrah in Cumbria and Lydd down in Kent to name just a few.
A typical race weekend consist of 2 practice sessions, qualifying and race 1 on Saturday followed by a warm up session and 2 races on the Sunday.
Riders will receive Instruction from BSB riders, BMB trainers and seasoned members of the Motorcycle Media on and off the track, encompassing safety procedures, race craft & media training.
With the plan to extend the championship further in the coming years to include a 190cc Ohvale GP-0 class it’s an exciting time for young British talent!
Big brands such as Motul Oil, SBS Brake pads and British brand Reactive Parts have all already signed up to help the Championship. Supporting riders with not only product but also podium and championship bonus’s!
